She Colors Joy & Love

Bridal Procession -
Women in bright saris crowd together as they walk in a bridal procession in Mandawa, Rajasthan. Rajasthan is the largest state in India—a land of extremes—encompassing steamy forests, dry plains, and the snowy Himalaya.
Women, around the globe, from time immemorial to today, have borne the cruel brunt of countless unjust judgments, subjected to the tribunal of timeless distorted beliefs; the list is endless in time and space. Women have lived, are still living the many travesties of life in a place lead by men birthed by women. Will it stay the same till the revelation of a great apocalypse?

Does not blood start to flow when one begins journey as a fetus in a womb? Does not blood nurture love when one first receives the mother’s blood? Does not a mother’s blood receive waste after a fetus a baby ingests all goodness? It is not a matter of the final word to have a baby. It is simply she, who bears nine laboring months, deserves not mere equality or better treatment but unrequital respect and discerning perspectives.

I am not a feminist nor an activist but just a simple layperson with a deep and genuine concern. Browsing, even for few short minutes, only one news website and I unwillingly, sadly learned of the plight of hundreds of kidnapped girls in Nigeria, a 3 months pregnant Islamic woman married a Christian being sentenced to death in Africa, or a pregnant woman stoned to death in Pakistan, or the continuous atrocious and unforgiving acts of rapes in India. Yet, they represented only a fraction of a huge number worldwide but especially in Africa, India and others where poverty and deprivation of education leads to terrorism and unchanging customs and traditions.

At the end of the day, my mind would weigh with questions begging answers but one question always stands out, “Have You stop hearing their cries?”

Child Brides

This is not about religion. This is not about races. This is not about cultural customs and traditions. This is about child bride.

This video shows the extreme complexity in a culture that renders difficulties in proper education, entangles in dilemmas their welfare by being girls.

For those who may not have seen this video or like to obtain insights about the true meaning of child bride or travesty of life, this video is most watch-worthy.

Because I Am A Girl

A beautiful nature photo can inspire him with sudden awe. A cute puppy picture can tickle him with rapid love. A nice shirt can make him feel handsome and confident. An exotic great meal can afford him luxury of novelty. A loved one can embrace him with assurance and security. A gathering string of friends can provide him bursting laughter and a wanting sense of companionship.

Do not be deceived for he was misled by conscious happiness and fleeting comfort. As much as he wants to share with such beauty of a photo, a phenomenon or a sentiment, dodging the opposite, the ugliness and the darkness before our eyes and under our noses will not serve escapade in every spirit of compassion.

Which is worst? Which One To Address First?

Humanity and Mother Nature, like awakened volcanoes, spew clouds of dreary news across the globe. Clouds of problems, while each rippling with ripping effects, seed in billion lives or more with unrelenting immense misery and hardship.

" Which problem is worst?
Which one to address first? "

The rapid spread of breeding soil for everything evil, before our eyes or under our noses; fearful as the rapidity breeds more and potent toxins. He shuddered at the occupied vastness the evil breeding soil is; he cringed at chameleonic toxins ghosting right under our noses.

Menfolk have an affinity for womenfolk. Is it not all natural? After all, womenfolk bear birth to mankind. How far from wrong is he in his belief womenfolk and children possess many core essences in their bosoms that soothe violence, and iron-clad a truce of peace and harmony?

Do women not perpetuate love and compassion? Does a child not symbolize pureness and joy? Is one not melted by their gentle exteriors but spellbound their strong interior? It is only natural they merit our respect, ours protection.

Why the gender target so constantly women and children? Why are they exacted such inhumane violence wildly and indiscriminately? It is of immense mental torment and torturously bewildering, until today, the perpetuation of social exclusion, maltreatment, sexual discrimination, commodification to these gentle creatures. The perils ensuing that have subjected millions of girls or women to violence every year. He expressed profound sadness the unfair perpetuity; he despised. A horrific possibility, a cruel continuity, which may have started as far back as history’s first founded trace of human’s existence.

If we still do not possibly see which problem to address first, mankind is surely doomed!
